If you're interested in creating a healthier lifestyle or bouncing back from unhealthy habits during the festive season, this workshop will guide you on how to get back on track in a healthy way!
The topic of ‘carbs’ is hotly debated wherever people gather to discuss healthy eating. Many of those trying to lose a few pounds or eat healthily hold firmly to the idea that ‘carbs are bad’, without fully understanding their overall importance, including maintaining a healthy weight, and blood sugar balance.
In this workshop, Margaret O’Brien, from Balance My Life will clear up some myths and misunderstandings about carbohydrates, and guide you onto the right path for developing a healthy eating pattern, no drastic weight loss plans or impossible resolutions just new habits that match your health goals, food preferences, and lifestyle demands.
Increased Energy Levels: Eating a healthy and well-balanced diet can help to provide a steady source of energy throughout the day, preventing the crashes that come with sugary or processed snacks.
Reduced Inflammation & Pain Relief: Anti-inflammatory foods can reduce joint pain, headaches, and chronic inflammation. Less inflammation in the body means feeling less sluggish or stiff, especially in the morning.
Stronger Immune System: A diet rich in antioxidants boosts the immune system, helping you recover faster from illnesses. Feeling healthy and not constantly battling colds and flus makes daily life feel much better.
Enhanced Mood & Mental Well-Being: Avoiding blood sugar spikes can help in preventing mood swings, irritability, and "brain fog."
Sense of Control & Self-Esteem: Making conscious, healthy food choices can give you a sense of accomplishment and self-discipline. Feeling in control of your health can lead to a more positive self-image and greater confidence.
