We are happy to announce our 2023 Open Evenings! 

 

If you are considering a career in counselling, want an amazing personal development course to enrich your own life and understanding of others, or are looking to enhance your learning in a specialist area of study and develop your career potential, come along to our PCI College Open Evenings!

 

The Open Evenings will be held online via Zoom and in-person, and you can meet Lecturers and Admissions staff to answer all your questions, from course content to timetables, qualifications, fees and teaching approaches.

 

These Open Evenings are free of charge - please register your interest through the booking form below. We will be sending further details and a Zoom link a day before the open evening.

More Information

The Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy (starting June 2023) is an introductory course in counselling & psychotherapy, which introduces you to the three main elements of Counselling & Psychotherapy - personal development, counselling skills and theories & approaches. It meets the entry criteria for the BSc honours degree and is a fulfilling and energising personal development course that can benefit anyone. 

 

The Blended Learning Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy is a combination of an Online Introduction to Counselling & Psychotherapy (Part 1 of the course) and two in-class experiential weekend workshops (Part 2 of the course). You can apply for this course at any time. 

 

The BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for people who are interested in becoming professional counsellors & psychotherapists and want to gain an honours degree and a professional qualification in counselling and psychotherapy. 

 

We also offer 4 postgraduate programmes.  

 

The MSc Child & Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapeutic Skills which is designed for those who wish to gain specialist training in counselling and psychotherapy for children, teenagers and young people under the age of 25. 

 

The MSc Addiction Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for professionals currently or considering working within addiction services in professions including counsellors/psychotherapists, doctors, nurses, youth workers, social carers, social workers, psychologists etc. who wish to solidify and enhance their qualifications and to gain contemporary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work therapeutically with those affected by addiction. 

 

The Advanced Diploma Clinical Supervision is designed to train existing professionals in the health and social care fields (e.g. counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, youth workers, psychologists, nurses etc.) to supervise the work of other professionals.  

 

The Advanced Diploma Online Counselling & Psychotherapy is designed to upgrade the practitioner’s existing qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy to include the provision of working therapeutically in a new digital era.
