The Summer Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy (starting June 2021) is a 75-hour introductory course in counselling & psychotherapy, which introduces you to the three main elements of Counselling & Psychotherapy - personal development, counselling skills and theories & approaches. It meets the entry criteria for the BSc honours degree and is a fulfilling and energising personal development course that can benefit anyone.
The BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for people who are interested in becoming professional counsellors & psychotherapists and want to gain an honours degree and a professional qualification in counselling and psychotherapy.
We also offer 4 postgraduate programmes.
The MSc Child & Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapeutic Skills is designed for those who wish to gain specialist training in counselling and psychotherapy for children, teenagers and young people under the age of 25.
The MSc Addiction Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for professionals currently or considering working within addiction services in professions including counsellors/psychotherapists, doctors, nurses, youth workers, social carers, social workers, psychologists etc. who wish to solidify and enhance their qualifications and to gain contemporary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work therapeutically with those affected by addiction.
The Advanced Diploma Clinical Supervision is designed to train existing professionals in the health and social care fields (e.g. counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, youth workers, psychologists, nurses etc.) to supervise the work of other professionals.
